Of note – it appears ClickSend’s pricing has gone up significantly from what is shown and explained in your article. Looking at ClickSend’s pricing page right now, and the under 2k tier is $0.0263 and the next tier is $0.0188. These are 2-nearly 3X higher than what’s listed in this article, and well above the Twilio “pay as you go” price of $0.0075. I’m new to the entire SMS auto notifications world and am currently looking for a solution. Came across your review and happened to notice the significant difference in what I just saw here: https://www.clicksend.com/us/pricing/us/

I had trouble signing up with ClickSend in the first place, it seems a complicated password will break their account provisioning system, which caused my account to be stuck in a limbo state that support contacted me to try to fix (almost immediately, to their credit). I was pleasantly surprised to have two dollars free credit on my account upon finally getting signed in, however their web UI is fractured into an old and new portal that leaves a bit to be desired, and upon sending my first text, I saw that the cost was $0.03/msg. Way above what I was expecting, and more than what I am willing to pay…

Also, their claimed post-pay is not available to smaller customers, you must have a high volume of messages with at leat $1,000/mo before they will even consider it.
