When Omnisend fits
Choose Omnisend when you run an online store and want campaigns, keywords and opt-in tools from one web dashboard. It suits a budget of $59 a month for Pro plus $10 in monthly credits. High spenders get the lowest rate, 0.7c per message at $10,000+ in monthly credit spend, read September 9, 2026. The free toll-free number, 280+ integrations including Shopify, and 24/7 chat support on every plan round out the fit. Omnisend offers no 10DLC registration, and its Acceptable Use Policy puts A2P 10DLC and CTIA compliance on the merchant (September 28, 2026), covered in the rules for business texting.
When Omnisend does not fit
Look elsewhere when you need 10DLC or a short code: Omnisend offers no 10DLC registration, and it does not publish a short code rental price as of September 9, 2026. API sending targets segments, not single numbers, with no SMPP. Omnisend does not publish an uptime figure or SLA (September 9, 2026). Omnisend SMS credits are dollar amounts purchased to send text messages. The entry rate is $0.009 per SMS for United States recipients. Unused credits roll into the next billing cycle and expire after 60 days. Each brand manages its own credit balance (Omnisend SMS credits).
The Pro plan has a regular monthly price of $59, which varies with billable contact count, and SMS is purchased separately (Omnisend plans). Omnisend announced that Legacy Pro brands move to the current Pro plan on October 26, 2026, and their unused credits keep the same 60 day expiry from issue date.
