Omnisend pricing

Omnisend sets four US SMS volume price bands. You pay $0.009 per SMS if your monthly SMS credit spend is between $10 and $49.99. The advertised $0.007 rate applies only at $10,000 or more in monthly SMS credit spend.

For subscribers starting on or after May 4, 2026, SMS is available only on the $59 per month Pro plan, plus a minimum $10 per month SMS credit subscription. Omnisend’s SMS credits article says Free and Standard plans cannot send SMS.

MMS costs three times the SMS rate at each band, which puts MMS at $0.027 on the entry band and $0.021 on the $10,000+ band.

Omnisend features

Omnisend runs SMS and MMS through the same campaign and automation builders as email and web push. The platform provides a toll-free number at no cost for sending SMS campaigns. A short code can be requested from support, and US recipients require toll-free verification through a built-in tool.

The platform lists more than 280 pre-built integrations, including Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Gorgias, and Zapier.

Omnisend publishes a versioned Campaigns API for sending SMS and MMS. The API is segment-addressed, so it targets campaign audiences rather than working as a per-number gateway endpoint. Email-to-SMS and SMPP are not published. Two-way messaging is limited to the Gorgias helpdesk integration for US recipients. Native two-way SMS is not built in.

Omnisend reliability and compliance

Omnisend does not publish an uptime percentage or SLA. Its terms state that Omnisend does not warrant the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. A public Atlassian status page tracks SMS as its own component and showed all systems operational at capture on September 9, 2026, but it publishes no historical uptime figures.

For routing, Omnisend’s data processing agreement names Twilio Ireland Limited as the SMS and MMS sub-processor for the United States, Canada, and US territories.

Omnisend does not publish HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 compliance, and its terms forbid submitting medical or health-related information into the service.

Omnisend does not offer A2P 10DLC brand or campaign registration itself. Its acceptable use policy requires the merchant to comply with TCPA, A2P 10DLC registration requirements, CTIA guidelines, and wireless carrier policies. Toll-free verification is mandatory for US sending, and short codes can be requested through support.

Omnisend support

Omnisend staffs customer service 24/7 on every plan, including the free plan. Channels are in-app live chat, email at [email protected], social media, and an AI assistant named Omni that can hand off to a human agent.

US phone support is not published. Omnisend’s contact and support pages list no US phone number at the time of capture.

Documentation includes a help center with 22 top-level collections and a developer docs site with a versioned API reference, a Postman collection, a llms.txt index, and an MCP server reference.

It does not suit developers who need a pure SMS API, SMPP, or email-to-SMS, buyers who need HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 compliance, or anyone who wants to try SMS without paying $59 per month for Pro.
