Weave pricing

Weave sells a monthly subscription, not per-message SMS. The only hard published price is the entry floor: $199 per month for the base bundle, which includes unlimited one-to-one business texting. Pre-built add-on bundles start at $149, and individual solutions carry varying unpublished prices. Bulk texting sits on named plans with monthly allotments, Essential at 500 messages, Pro at 1,500, Elite at 3,000, and Ultimate at 15,000, but Weave does not publish the monthly price of any named plan, and the pricing comparison table on its own site shows those price cells as blank. An unpriced Regulatory Cost Recovery Fee covering 10DLC, STIR/SHAKEN, E911 and related carrier costs is added to every bill, and the amount is never stated.

Weave features

Weave’s texting capabilities sit inside a broader practice-management suite and are not sold separately.

  • Two-way business texting: included in the base bundle, with no per-message metering for direct patient conversations. Weave supports attaching images, videos and PDFs to texts through the compose interface.
  • Bulk messaging: plan-based allotments from 500 to 15,000 messages per month with a 10,000-per-day send cap, plus an in-app top-up option for up to 50,000 additional messages at an unpublished price.
  • Scheduled messaging and templates: available for appointment reminders, recall campaigns and broadcast announcements.
  • No API, no SMPP, no email-to-SMS: Weave publishes no developer documentation, no API endpoint, and no programmatic send path. The domain developer.getweave.com does not resolve, and the sitemap carries zero developer or API URLs across 1,745 pages. Weave’s email product is end-to-end email only, with no SMS gateway bridge.
  • Integrations: Weave connects to 32 practice-management and EHR platforms, including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OpenDental, athenaOne, eClinicalWorks, ModMed, DaySmart Vet, EzyVet and CareCredit. These are healthcare-specific integrations, not general-purpose CRM or marketing connectors.

Weave reliability and compliance

Weave does not publish an uptime SLA or any uptime figure. Its Terms of Service disclaim the entire service ā€œAS IS,ā€ ā€œWHERE ISā€ and ā€œAS AVAILABLEā€ with no warranty of any kind, and a full-text search of those terms for ā€œuptime,ā€ ā€œ99.ā€ and ā€œservice levelā€ returns zero hits. Weave does run a public Atlassian Statuspage at status.getweave.com with a dedicated SMS texting service component and a dated incident log showing three resolved incidents in the 14 days to September 8, 2026, but this is non-contractual.

On compliance, Weave handles 10DLC brand registration for its customers through the Weave interface, requiring no direct interaction with The Campaign Registry. The platform is a HIPAA Business Associate and publishes a full, standing Business Associate Addendum last updated April 2026, binding Weave to 45 C.F.R. Part 164 Subpart C safeguards and breach reporting obligations under 164.410. Weave does not claim formal HIPAA certification, and the Department of Health and Human Services does not recognize private HIPAA certifications.

Weave does not publish SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification at the company level. Its security page attributes SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 solely to its host, Google Cloud Platform. Toll-free verification and short codes are not published as Weave capabilities, and Weave’s own 10DLC page notes that short codes are ā€œmore limited and costly to maintainā€ without offering one.

Weave support

Weave provides US phone support at 888-579-5668 (option 1) and a sales line at 833-572-2139. Live chat is available through the platform, and the help center at weavehelp.com includes a separate training site with live one-on-one sessions. An escalation email address, [email protected], is confirmed through Weave’s own Trustpilot replies. Weave does not publish support hours on any page checked, including its pricing, plans, FAQ, contact and help center pages.

Weave alternatives

Podium is an all-in-one customer-communication platform for local service businesses, covering reviews, texting and payments. It competes directly with Weave on the bundled-suite model but serves a broader range of industries beyond healthcare.

Skipio offers personal-number-style two-way business texting for relationship-driven follow-up. It suits a healthcare practice wanting texting-led patient engagement without Weave’s requirement to replace the existing phone system.

Textline publishes a transparent per-agent pricing model with no phone-system replacement requirement, directly addressing the two biggest published gaps in Weave’s offer: opaque named-plan pricing and PBX lock-out.

Weave verdict

Pros

  • Unlimited one-to-one business texting included in the $199/mo base plan with no per-message metering
  • Published entry price of $199 per month is unusually transparent for a healthcare SaaS platform
  • Is a HIPAA Business Associate with a full, standing Business Associate Addendum
  • 10DLC brand registration handled entirely for the customer through the Weave interface
  • Public status page with a dedicated SMS service component and dated incident log

Cons

  • No SLA or uptime figure published anywhere; the entire service is disclaimed ā€œAS ISā€ and ā€œAS AVAILABLEā€
  • Named plan prices beyond the $199 floor are never published, and the pricing table shows blank price cells
  • An unpriced Regulatory Cost Recovery Fee is added to every bill with no stated amount
  • No free trial of the full platform; trials exist only for new add-ons and only for existing customers
  • Contract terms are contradictory: the FAQ says no long-term contracts, but the Terms of Service impose full-remaining-term liability on early cancellation

Weave suits small-to-medium healthcare practices, dental, medical, optometry and veterinary, that want to replace their phone system entirely and bundle texting, reminders, reviews, payments and analytics under one subscription. It serves approximately 40,000 customer locations and is a strong fit for a practice that needs phones plus texting plus payments in one system and does not need programmatic or bulk SMS sending.

Weave does not suit developers or marketers needing an SMS API, bulk senders needing per-message or SMPP pricing, businesses outside healthcare, or anyone wanting a free trial before committing. It is also a poor fit for a practice that already has a PBX phone system it intends to keep, Weave’s own materials state that you cannot plug Weave into an existing legacy PBX.
