On its healthcare page, TextUs states patients reply to confirm, cancel or reschedule an appointment. Sinch Engage publishes confirmation, rescheduling and patient questions through two-way SMS, Text Request describes patients texting to book and ask questions, and Weave publishes appointment confirmation by text, all checked 3 October 2026. The cached Textline page adds two-way patient texting, read 28 September 2026.

Scheduling claims differ by surface, so match each claim to your booking process. TextUs ties rescheduling to the patient reply. Text Request shares booking and rescheduling links by text. Sinch Engage publishes appointment and shift scheduling updates, all checked 3 October 2026. Weave publishes website appointment booking with automatic writebacks to a practice management system, and reply-based rescheduling was not captured in the 3 October 2026 read.

Payment claims split into collection and alerts, so check which one your billing needs. Text Request publishes requesting and collecting patient payments through SMS payment links, checked 3 October 2026. Weave publishes text bill reminders and Text to Pay, read the same date. The cached Textline page publishes patient payment alerts, read 28 September 2026, and the captured claim does not include integrated payment processing.

TextUs publishes shift coverage and coordination across departments on its healthcare page. Sinch Engage publishes staff alerts and contact with healthcare providers. Text Request lists separate department or physician lines with account user permission levels, an account administration capture with no shift management claim, all checked 3 October 2026.

Named medical system connections

Each named connection is a captured claim, and a name alone does not confirm the sync workflow. Sinch Engage describes "a native integration (Epic, HubSpot, etc.)" on its healthcare page, checked 3 October 2026. Epic is an EHR. HubSpot is a CRM, so it sits outside the EHR and PMS group. The capture records the names without the writeback workflow or supported versions. Sinch Engage is the product behind the MessageMedia name, and the separate Sinch API provider does not inherit these workflow or Epic claims.

On its medical page, Weave lists MacPractice, athenahealth and DrChrono beneath the medical PMS integration heading, read from logo labels on 3 October 2026. A named logo does not confirm the exact workflow or edition.

The TextUs and Text Request reads from 3 October 2026 captured no named medical system, and the cached Textline read captured none. The SMS integrations page covers provider connections beyond the systems named here.

BAA and account conditions

HHS guidance describes business associate relationships as functions and services that involve protected health information, and states Business Associate Agreement requirements (hhs.gov, read 3 October 2026). A published BAA is a contractual record, separate from workflow claims.

On its playbook page, Text Request states it signs a BAA on request, with account and contractual eligibility to verify, checked 3 October 2026. Textline provides a BAA through Hello Sign after choosing a HIPAA plan, a plan-specific condition (textline.com/security, read 28 September 2026).

Weave publishes a Business Associate Addendum that supplements its Terms of Service (getweave.com/legal/baa, read 28 September 2026). No BAA is captured for Sinch Engage, and a separate Sinch product agreement does not transfer. The TextUs read did not cover BAA terms, and its HIPAA description is metadata only.

SimpleTexting limits its healthcare texting discussion to messages without protected health information, and Mobile Text Alerts states the condition of excluding protected patient health information, both read 28 September 2026 (simpletexting.com, mobile-text-alerts.com).

Healthcare texting cost scope

Standard SMS prices are generic business rates. The SMS gateway prices comparison carries per-message figures in USD for general business sending. Published standard rates do not establish healthcare account eligibility or the separate contract total. Any HIPAA-plan fees, BAA-related charges and integration charges sit outside this estimator, and the reads here do not state that they apply to every account.

Textline ties its BAA to choosing a HIPAA plan, a plan-specific condition (textline.com/security, read 28 September 2026). The standard SMS estimator does not price that separate plan, so request current healthcare account terms before comparing totals.

Reading the provider evidence

A published cell means the provider states the claim on its own page, and we recorded it without independent delivery testing. Not captured means the read did not record the attribute, which differs from a provider not offering it.

A 28 September 2026 baseline counted 26 published healthcare records, but that set includes duplicate product evidence and one market-mismatched capture, so it is not a count of distinct US products. A page serving another market is not US evidence.
